Homework expectations:
Reading: Each student is expected to read a book at their level for 20 minutes every night. They fill out their reading logs about what they read and have it signed by an adult. When a student has completed a book, they are expected to complete a story map. Each student should fill out at least 25 story maps during the school year.
Math: Almost every night, students will have math homework, which is an extention of our math lessons.
Spelling: Spelling lists are given out every Monday and test will be on Friday. We will do a couple spelling activities during the week, but students are expected to study their words every night. Spelling list are modified to meet students' academic needs.
